It’s been a tough month and even year. I want to blame on the things that happen in office and the time that I spent to help taking care of my son that make me can’t do what I want to do. But, thinking about that, what can it accomplish? It’s only make me feel worse and think that there’s always something that can make things worse. Have you feel that way?

Christmas Reflection

There is one statement that comes to my mind when I try to complain. The situation (that you have right now) will only get worse. I’m not really sure what’s the exact word because I don’t know who actually says that. If you do, please let us know, so that we can learn it in better context. But from what I learn is that every time you make excuse (including me) because of the situation, be it about your new environment/situation, unstable economy, overloaded with project, etc, it will always be there or even worse. There’s no guarantee that tomorrow is going to be better than today. That’s the reason that I haven’t write much lately, because I thought I’ve tried to spend some time to prepare something, but at the end, it’s got delayed because of unfinished thought and seems the time is against me.

At this Christmas day, I want to remind you and me to be grateful with our current situation. Well, I know that it should not because of Christmas, but this is a good time to start something. A good time to find a reason for changing our thinking. What you are experiencing now, it could be worse. You can think it as a positive thinking. I’m looking at it as a way to switch my view. To grab the control in what I want to do. There’s something or there are a lot of things that are out of our control, like I’ve mentioned in here about bad situation. In this case, it’s time for us to take control in what we can. For my case, I can’t blame on my son or my busy project time so that I can’t write more. There’s an impact, of course, but by this, I’ll need to rearrange my life so that I can still write something that I hope to be a value for you. If you are in similar situation, as in having no control, I hope you can find something that you can control. By then, you and I will be able to improve ourselves from current situation. Don’t give up. our life will be the same when we stop trying. And remember, if it can help you, you are not the only one have difficult life. Everyone else does. I’m sure you can do better than now.

As a closing, I would like to say have a Merry Christmas. May God bless your life in what you do and wherever you are.

What do you most grateful about in this Christmas day?

Luke 2: 10 – 12 – But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

“Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.” –  Calvin Coolidge
